Are you?

A completely re-engineered and redesigned Honda Pilot SUV made its debut at the 2015 Canadian International Auto Show on February 12. The all-new, eight-passenger Pilot SUV raised the stakes in the mainstream three-row SUV segment with new technology, advanced safety, improved fuel economy and enhanced family utility and versatility.

The Pilot represents a dramatic shift in design, while showcasing new standout technologies, versatility, and dynamics then currently unavailable in the mainstream SUV segment. The redesigned Pilot SUV will further augment a Honda light truck lineup that includes the recently redesigned Canadian-made Honda CR-V and the all-new Honda HR-V crossover, that launched in the spring.

The original Honda Pilot was introduced in 2002 as the first mainstream eight-passenger SUV to feature car-like unitized body construction, delivering more refined driving dynamics, better fuel economy and superior cabin space in a family-oriented sport-utility vehicle.

Building on the solid reputation established from the fall 2002 introduction of the first generation 2003 model, the Pilot brings a whole new level of refinement and available content to the segment.

This includes a more powerful direct injected 3.5-liter SOHC i-VTEC® Earth Dreams™ Technology engine producing 280 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, and new 6-speed and 9-speed automatic transmissions. Providing outstanding dynamic handling are a new Intelligent Variable Torque Management™ (i-VTM4™) AWD System and all-new selectable Intelligent Traction Management system featuring Normal, Mud, Sand, and Snow modes on the AWD models.
